I'm Preston Smith—a Strategic Communications senior at the University of Missouri, specializing in copywriting and AI-powered content strategy. Additionally, I have a minor in Psychology, which has come to heavily influence my work. It’s one thing to say “your audience is a person, not a statistic,” but it’s something else entirely to understand what drives them to make the choices they do.

Adaptability is incredibly important to me, which is why over the course of my career I’ve done work such as writing content for an agency newsletter, leading copy both internal and external for ad campaigns, and publishing insights gathered from qualitative and quantitative data. I also hold an AI Prompting Certification from Vanderbilt University and work fluently across ChatGPT, Claude, and Google Gemini.
